ABOUT THE HONOREE

After graduating from the School of Visual Arts and pursuing graduate work in Modern Art and Critical Studies at Columbia University, Rachel worked in the museum field for close to seventeen years as a lecturer and education programs curator. The Guggenheim, The Metropolitan, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Bronx Museum of Arts are just a few of the arts institutions Rachel worked for before moving west, where she worked as an educator at the Norton Simon and LACMA. Utilizing her background in audience development and curation, Rachel became the Director of Social Media and Influencer Relations for #WeAllGrow Latina Network and was responsible for leading the company’s approach to online engagement and social media strategy in addition to managing relationships within the content creator community.

Rachel now owns Blue Lotus Collective, a creative agency focusing on social and influencer marketing. She is also the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at MyCajita, a subscription box company featuring artisan products from Mexico.
