Work and Travel | Our visit with the 2022 Chevy Silverado ZR2

I have said this before but I really do enjoy driving Chevy Trucks. As a kid I remember riding in trucks that had a rough ride, were very loud and no entertainment features to speak of except for maybe an AM radio. Of course that was awhile back. Fast forward to 2022. The Chevy Silverado ZR2 is a great year round vehicle that your family will be comfortable in for long trips and hauling trailers. It also has the form, fit and function required for your work projects.

Some of my favorite features included:

  • 13.4-inch diagonal infotainment touch-screen and 12.3-inch diagonal Driver Information Center.
  • Google built-in compatibility, which offers the benefits and familiarity of Google right on your infotainment system display.
  • Available on the High Country, Super Cruise is a hands-free driver assistance technology that manages speed and steering on more than 200,000 miles of compatible roads in the U.S. and Canada. It’s also functional when towing, giving you added comfort and confidence for those long hauls.
  • Silverado has you covered for the long haul with proven technologies like Trailer Sway Control, Hill Start Assist and Auto Grade Braking. And with 8 available cameras offering up to 14 views, you can keep an eye on what’s in tow. Plus, the available Trailering App offers customized trailer profiles, pre-departure checklists and trailer tire pressure/temperature monitoring.

Our time with the Chevy Silverado ZR2 included a trip the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The 1,800 acre zoo in the San Pasqual Valley area of San Diego, California near Escondido is about hour drive from Hispanic Lifestyle’s headquarters.
