Selena Gomez to portray Linda Ronstadt in BioPic?

So this was interesting set of developments. Hispanic Lifestyle posted on December 31, 2023 via social media a message from one of our LinkedIn connection about Selena Gomez and Linda Ronstadt.

I received the note below from one of our connections. Selena Gomez and Linda Ronstadt make this happens in 2024.

“My daughters who are in their early twenties love Linda Ronstadt. They mentioned how much Selena Gomez looks like her. They thought a movie or show about Linda Ronstadt played by Selena Gomez would be really interesting. Just wanted to share this idea with you.”

So we posted her thought via our social media network. I asked longtime friend and confidant of Ms. Ronstadt, Dan Guerrero his thoughts. “That idea with Selena Gomez has been floating for a few years now but no movement so far!” He further shared, “P.S. Linda is the one that told me about the Selena Gomez idea that had been proposed to Linda. that was a couple of years ago.”

Fast forward, Selena Gomez will play Linda Ronstadt in an upcoming biopic, Variety has confirmed. Variety posted this on January 10, 2024.
