Eight outstanding Latina business and corporate leaders were recognized at the first Latina Golfers Association (LGA) Awards and Golf Fashion Show Brunch which took place on January 24 in Pasadena.  Honorees received the “Breaking the Glass Ceiling” Award for excelling in their careers and utilizing golf as a business tool. LGA also honored actress/golfer Aimee Garcia, who was recently profiled in Golf Digest Magazine, and LPGA Tour Champion, Lizette Salas.

The Latina Golfers Association (LGA) is committed to empowering women and girls by developing their leadership skills through golf.  With over 1,200 members in Southern California, LGA teaches women how to utilize golf as a business tool in order to break the glass ceiling with a golf ball.
