Business | 29th Annual Rockstars of Business Awards Luncheon

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver is proud to announce the finalists of nine awards to be presented to leaders for their efforts in furthering the Hispanic business community. Finalists will be recognized and winners will be announced at the 29th Annual Business Awards Luncheon on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. — 1:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Denver, 1550 Court Place, Denver, CO 80202.

The keynote speaker for this year’s awards luncheon will be Jeb Bush, Jr. (son of potential Presidential candidate). With his diverse and multicultural background as well as his extensive experience inside the immigration debate and within the energy industry, he will add specific knowledge and expertise to the event program.

“Our annual Business Awards Luncheon is an opportunity to recognize businesses and business leaders for their outstanding leadership and support in the Hispanic community,” President & CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Diedra Garcia said. “The Hispanic Chamber continues to be a voice of influence in the community and with this year’s keynote speaker, it allows us to be recognized on a national scale when discussing topics like diversity in the workplace.”

Award recipients were chosen by the Hispanic Chamber Nomination Committee consisting of past winners and board members of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Companies and individuals were evaluated based on their business success, involvement with organizations, committees and board of directors that promote Hispanic business development, as well as, Hispanic business outreach and involvement with the Hispanic Chamber.

The Ronald E. Montoya Lifetime Achievement Award

A special President’s Award will also be announced at the event. This award is given to recipients who have demonstrated long-term business success in the Denver metro area, strong involvement in the Hispanic community and adaptability in a changing business world.
