Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to be supporting 3rd Annual Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival.
The HBRFEST invites you to participate in all of our activities: Film screenings, Receptions and Galas.
Opening Ceremony Gala and opening film Wednesday June 1st, 2011 6:00Pm At the Egyptian Theatre 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, CA 90028
Thanks to LG, our lead sponsor, the whole festival is free and open to the public , except the Opening Gala which is by invitation only and it is at the Egyptian Theater, however we are selling 50 tickets for the gala at $50.00 to the public.
Free screenings are at the Mann Chinese 6 Theaters, open panels and filmmakers‟ lounge are at the Roosevelt Hotel.
Every film is a Los Angeles premiere.
The 3rd Annual Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival will open with RISCADO and RECIFE FRIO. Both have won important awards, though they are virtually unknown in North America. Both directors are incredibly talented; they’re here to stay. Their sure hands show total control of storytelling. Comedy, drama, film within a film, real or not? Take your pick.
Brazilian celebrity attend the festival: Mariana Ximenes, Reynaldo Gianecchini, among 2 other surprise guests. Hollywood celebrities attending the festival cannot be mentioned, please come to see who are they.

Parking instructions:
Read Meter signs carefully. Parking regulations have changed and much of the parking is one hour only and meters are enforced until 8pm or later on side streets near the theatre. There is also free street parking on Selma (south of Hollywood Blvd.) and other area side streets.
Cherokee & Selma (south of Hollywood Boulevard).
South of Hollywood Blvd. there are attended Grant Parking lots on McCadden Place and on Las Palmas. Parking is $8-$20 flat rate maximum. They do NOT offer validation to Egyptian Theatre customers, but the stores in the complex validate so people can get validated that way or there is a $5 lot on Selma.
