Edith Lucia Sanchez is Branch Operating Model Lead covering the Southern California Region for JPMorgan Chase & Co. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising Management from California State University, Fullerton. Born and raised in Santa Ana, California and daughter of Jose Arturo and Maria Magdalena Sanchez, Edith is the youngest of five. Both parents are from Guadalajara, Mexico and married for 50 years. Being raised by parents who are immigrants taught her the importance of aspiring to be more through having faith, staying committed, and being determined.  She is a mother to 11 year old Nigel Sebastian. The time spent with her son is most important. They enjoy movie dates, hanging out with friends, watching sports, and reading together. When she is not supporting the field or spending time with her son, you will hear of her most recent travels, the last concert she attended, or planning her next adventure. Being an athlete in high school and college helped lay the foundation of discipline and teamwork. She started with the firm over 20 years ago as a part time teller, she moved briefly into a banker role and was then promoted into management.

She spent seventeen years in management and ran the largest bank branch in California achieving a total deposit and investment book of one billion dollars. The accomplishment took perseverance, patience, leadership and commitment. These attributes continue to be a part of who she is and has carried them into her current role. She now supports over 200 bank branches.

Anyone that knows her will say she has a passion for developing people, deepening relationships with clients and doing more then what’s required for the field. She is innovative, bold and is an advocate for all. Being in a Region Support role means stays close to the field, finding solutions, seeking opportunities to improve and expand the company’s footprint. She is absolutely employee and customer obsessed. She dedicates her time to making every visit in the field educational and memorable for all whether it’s with the team member or a customer. She is selfless, warm and approachable. Travel is a large part of her role and she enjoys the drives to and through San Diego, Orange County and the Inland Empire. The exposure to the field is key component to delivering national and regional messaging. Her dedication and energy to Hispanic Community beams through the work she does for Adelante a Business Resource Group that fosters an environment of diversity by empowering Hispanic and Latino employees to identify and pursue opportunities for career development. Staying involved in the community assist in creating a stronger sense of being while promoting employee retention.

She has held the Employee Development role and currently leads the Community Involvement for the California Board. Her vision is to inspire and motivate others to give 110%, so they can obtain their dream role. Satisfaction is truly fulfilled when others pay it forward, happiness is achieved, and passion is in their eyes.
