In this edition we speak with a Latina entrepreneur in California and we go to our nation’s capital to speak with Latinos in the Obama Administration.
We travel coast to coast in this edition of Hispanic Lifestyle.

SEGMENT: Rodri Rodriguez
We begin our program by speaking with entrepreneur Ms. Rodri Rodriguez. Adding to her list of accomplishments is restauranteur. The Mariachi USA concert producer and bank financier begins with a brief history of her new venture La Fonda.
Rodri explains that her experience goes beyond her work as a concert producer.
We asked Rodri about the connection for her in entering the restaurant business.
Having interviewed Rodri a couple of years ago, we asked her to bring us up to date on her activities.

Mariachi USA is an annual event and we asked Rodri about her commitment to present an outstanding event year after year.

We end our segment with Rodri by asking her thoughts about the future of the Latino Community.

SEGMENT: Luis Miranda, Director of Hispanic Media
We now travel across country to our nation’s capital and Hispanic Lifestyle had chance to meet with representatives of President Obama’s administrations.

This segment begins with the administration’s Director of Hispanic Media, Mr. Luis Miranda describing his job responsibilities.

Latinos represents approximately 47 million individuals in the United States and we asked how they are represented in the Obama Administration.

We asked Mr. Miranda how he secured a job in the Obama Administration.

SEGMENT: Cecilia Munoz, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs
In this segment we meet with Intergovernmental Affairs Director Ms. Cecilia Munoz. Our conversation began with a brief description of the director’s responsibilities.
Because of her work in Public Policy, Hispanic Lifestyle wanted to know how Latinos are part of the debate on the important issues facing our country.

We asked Ms. Munoz to describe the moment she was asked to join the Obama Administration.

Ms. Munoz finishes our conversation by talking about her commitment to public service.
