Community Advocate Olivia Campos-Bergeron is one of Hispanic Lifestyle’s 2014 Latinas of Influence.  Follow all of our 2014 Latinas of Influence on twitter with the tag #HLTVLC14

Olivia Campos-Bergeron is the Director of Community Relations for CBS2/KCAL9.  In this executive capacity she reports directly to the president and general manager.  Campos-Bergeron is responsible for the development and management of the duopoly’s community-public affairs initiatives and community partnerships.  Working closely with the duopoly’s news team, her role includes talent relations and engagements.

Prior to joining CBS2/KCAL9, she established her own business in community/public affairs and human resource management with diversity.

Our entire list of Hispanic Lifestyle’s 2014 Latinas of Influence are invited to participate in our Latina Conference scheduled for April 2, 2014.

Campos-Bergeron has enjoyed a lengthy career in community-public affairs and human resources.  From running her own consulting business, to a background that includes Director of Workforce Diversity for NBC4 in Burbank; Vice-President, Employee & Community Relations for TELACU; Development Director for Plaza de la Raza Cultural Arts Center; key staff member to Congressman Esteban Torres and serving in the White House for then, Mr. Torres, Counsel for Hispanic Affairs for President Jimmy Carter.

A recipient of numerous awards and honors, she is actively involved in various community and business organizations.  A brief list of honors include:  LA County Commission on Women; Americas Theatre Arts Foundation; Imagen Foundation; Safe Passage, and Susan G. Komen Race for The Cure.

Campos-Bergeron is a graduate of Cal State University, Long Beach, is a Certified Mediator and holds a California Vocational Teaching Credential.  She resides in Orange County with her husband of over twenty-five years.
