Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to recognize senior vice president and Commercial Banking market executive Patricia Chavez as a 2017 Latina of Influence. Ms. Chavez along with our entire list of 2017 Latinas of Influence are invited to participate in Hispanic Lifestyle’s 2017 Latina Conference taking place April 5 – 6, 2017 in Ontario, California.

Patricia Chavez is a senior vice president and market executive for the Inland Empire market for Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Her responsibilities include leading and managing a team of client relationship managers to deliver the full breadth of Bank of America Merrill Lynch capabilities to locally-based companies with $5 million to $50 million in annual revenue. These businesses include a wide variety of general industries, from family-owned enterprises to multinational corporations.

Patricia joined Bank of America in 1989 and has strong experience in Retail Banking, Wealth Management and Commercial Banking. She is proud to be a third-generation Bank of America employee. She also serves as the market integration executive for the Inland Empire region and is responsible for connecting local teams to drive cross-line of business collaboration and a one team culture. She is also an active member of the Inland Empire Market President leadership team.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from California State University Fullerton, Patricia went on to complete her master’s in business administration with a concentration in finance at the University of La Verne and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.

Passionate in her support of diversity and inclusion, Patricia is a member of the Hispanic-Latino Leadership Council, an internal organization supporting the career advancement and leadership development of Hispanic- Latino employees. In addition, she serves as an executive sponsor for the Inland Empire chapter of the Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership Advancement (HOLA). She gives her time and guidance to the local Leadership, Education, Advocacy, and Development (LEAD) for Women chapter, which is dedicated to promoting professional women’s development throughout the bank. Patricia is also on the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity in Riverside, California. Patricia is married with three children and resides in Chino Hills, California.

Patricia Chavez, a Commercial Banking Executive in the Inland Empire is a committed and influential leader from Bank of America. In addition to generating Business Banking services to the Region, Patricia delivers on the bank’s purpose of improving the financial lives of her customers, clients and communities. She lives and works in the Inland Empire and is a recent graduate of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership’s Leadership Academy. She gives back to the community as members of nonprofit boards and volunteering. Her vast knowledge in banking and of the Inland Empire region’s challenges, opportunities and potential makes her an outstanding advocate for our bank and for the region.
