Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to recognize Entrepreneur, Community Leader Teresa Razo as a 2020 Latina of Influence. Ms. Razo along with our entire list of 2020 Latinas of Influence are invited to participate in Latina Conference taking place June 2, 2020 in Ontario, California.

Entrepreneur, Mother, Wife, Motivational Speaker, Philanthropist, Community Leader, Visionary and Lover of Life! Teresa has been a pilar to the Latin-American community in Orange County for decades. Currently, Founder & Director of Cambalache Argentine & Italian Cuisine in Fountain Valley & Director of Marketing of Villa Roma Argentine & Italian Cuisine in Laguna Hills.

Teresa Razo was born in Laguna Beach, CA. Both her parents are from Jalisco, Mexico and she is proud of her Mexican heritage. After graduating for Laguna Beach High School, she was accepted to University of California, Irvine where she graduated in 1998 with a Spanish major and studies in Chicano Latino & Criminology. Later in 2015 she graduated from the Latina Global Executive Leadership & Entrepreneur Program from USC. And in 2016 completed the Stanford Latin Entrepreneur Leadership Program from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Teresa is involved in many philanthropic work as well as her contributions to businesswomen around Orange County. She has been nominated top 3 Orange County Restaurateurs, Named Notable Person by Para Todos Magazine, received the Minerva Award from the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, articles in “El Restaurante Magazine” and has received numerous awards for your work, dedication and love to her community and entrepreneurial leadership. She is also a co-author of the book, “Lead with Success” published in 2016. Recently she was named “Business Women of the Year 2017” and “Orange County Restaurateur of the Year 2019 and most recently Woman to Watch in California 2020”.

Teresa is married to a great and humble man and mother of two amazing boys. She considers her family the greatest treasure in life and strongly believes in building a longer table than a taller fence!

Establishing a restaurant is hard work, but maintaining a successful restaurant is one of the hardest professions. There is long hours and many unknowns. We have been able to operate 2 restaurants and 1 market/deli in Orange County with a purpose. Our focus is just not the owning successful restaurants, but to own restaurants with values, passions and share our blessings with the community. Each day is like a recipe…. we are not only cooking our future, but also cooking the future of our staff, patrons and community.
