  • Latino adults in the U.S. are more than twice as likely as white consumers to report financial losses from digital scams.
  • 13% of Latino adults report losses vs. 6% of white adults

Business Email Compromise (BEC)

  • Scammers pose as vendors or executives, to trick employees into wiring money or revealing confidential information 
  • Estimated losses are upwards of $2.9 billion+

INSIGHTS – MILESTONE

Latina of Influence Josefina López, the celebrated Mexican-American award-winning playwright and screenwriter.  

Best known for creating and authoring the play and co-authoring the film Real Women Have Curves is making her broadway debut. 

Recognized by Hispanic Lifestyle in 2014, Josefina’s Real Women Have Curves: The Musical, held their opening night last week at the James Earl Jones Theatre in New York City.

SELENA, the Queen of Tejano music and one of the most iconic Latin artists in history, has been honored with an Recording Industry Association of America Lifetime Achievement plaque in recognition of 17 million certified units across her career.  

The 62x Platinum Dreaming of You is the highest certified Latin album.

Mother’s Day is a universal celebration, yet how and when it is honored varies across cultures and countries. 

In the United States, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. 

However, in Mexico and many Latin American countries, this cherished day takes on unique traditions, rich cultural symbolism, and even a different date.

In Mexico, Mother’s Day—Día de las Madres—is always celebrated on May 10, regardless of the day of the week.
