Event | Are You Planning to Fail? – Leadership Success Summit

Maybe you’ve heard the saying “Failing to plan is planning to fail.”

Really? I mean, who plans to fail?!?

The answer is — more people than you realize. Are you one of them?

I’m in the final planning stages of my annual Leadership Success Summit. (Click here for more details – www.LeadershipSuccessSummit.com).

As I go through my lists and put together the different pieces, I think about how carefully each of them fit to create the experience that attendees will have at the event.

There is a clearly outlined plan to make all of this happen.

Additionally, the 1st Pillar that kicks off the conference talks about how to create a written plan in your personal and professional life. (www.LeadershipSuccessSummit.com)

On a bigger scale, I can reflect back to a class I attended almost two decades ago where the instructor spoke about how over 90% of all Americans had no real plan for their lives. (And, why I wrote the mission statement for my life).

What I have discovered, which prompted me to write Designing Your Destiny: Achieving Personal and Professional Success through Upside Thinking, confirms this research.

Did you know that most people spend more time planning a one-week vacation than planning their life?

These are the same people who get into the rut of a comfortable life and don’t even realize that their life is shrinking.

They become spectators on their own journey, watching each day unfold almost surprised with what transpires.

Their unintentional, uninspired life makes them reactive, rather than proactive.

Do you have a plan for your personal and professional life for 2012?

I believe that this is why so many people end up discouraged, frustrated, and lost on their journey.

Now, I’m going to use some strong language here so brace yourself.

You should have a life plan. (Yes, I used the word “should”.)

You need a life plan. (Yes, I used the word “need”.)

A plan for your personal and professional life will:

  • Serve as a GPS when you get off track, giving you peace of mind .
  • Make life easier to make decisions for your life when you come to a crossroads.
  • Allow you to focus on what matters most.
  • Give you clarity about where your life is headed.
  • Enable you to remain balanced when you’re feeling off-kilter.

So, if you haven’t done it already, click here (www.LeadershipSuccessSummit.com) and register today for the 4th annual Leadership Success Summit.

In just two days, you’ll create your carefully crafted written plan for your personal and professional life that will allow you to monetize your expertise and do more of what you love.

Besides, you’ll meet some really cool people and walk away with new connections and powerful partnerships that will make your heart (and your cash register) sing!
