FASHION SURPRISES IN BEVERLY HILLS by Gabriela Sandoval

Gabriela and Nicholas Sandoval in Beverly Hills

During our day trip to Beverly Hills California, while Richard was covering a red carpet event for Hispanic Lifestyle Nicholas and I were left to wonder around Rodeo Drive.  A colorful building caught our attention and the journey began. To my surprise it was the Louis Vuitton X pop up museum and shop. I was in “Louis” dreamland. If you too are a “Louis” fan,  I can only tell that I got   more and more excited as I walk through each of the exhibits.

The Louis Vuitton X is a celebration of its long history. In total we walked through 10 rooms in a two story building. It was amazing to see the brand’s long history, from its origins as a purveyor of luggage in the 1850s and an array of monogram bags customized by artists and designers including Red Kawakubo and Cindy Sherman. In total, there are 180 objects on view.

Louis Vuitton X is free and open to the public and will be open until September 15. You will find the space at 484 North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
