BACKGROUND
Now in our 6th season Hispanic Lifestyle is produced in a “magazine type” format that profiles Latinos promoting positive images in our community. Hispanic Lifestyle takes pride in the fact that we profile Latino community leaders, business professionals, entertainers and elected officials that have a regional and national presence. Our theme is “Health, Education, Business and Entertainment, Capturing the Passions of our community, Hispanic Lifestyle.”
Hispanic Lifestyle can be seen weekly Thursday nights at 6:30PM on KVCR-PBS (www.KVCR.org) Channel 24 (Riverside/San Bernardino County), Tuesdays at 7:30PM on KLCS-PBS Channel 58 in Los Angeles and Orange Counties (www.KLCS.org) and KJLA (Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and parts of San Diego and Ventura counties Sundays at 10:00PM.
KVCR, KLCS and KJLA are included on Dish Network and DirectTV Southern California packages. Overall Hispanic Lifestyle has a potential viewing audience of over five million households in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, and San Diego Counties. Hispanic Lifestyle produces a total of 28 new episodes per year. In June of 2
008 Hispanic Lifestyle produced its 100th episode.
KLCS-TV/DT — The Education Station is a noncommercial educational television station licensed to the Los Angeles Unified School District and is a member of the Public Broadcasting Service. A multiple Emmy® Award winner, KLCS broadcasts on analog channel 58 and digital channel 41 to over sixteen million viewers throughout Southern California. KLCS is also carried on DirectTV, Dish Network, and most cable systems.

Broadcasting from Mt. Wilson, the KLCS coverage area extends from Santa Barbara to San Diego, reaching a potential viewing audience of over five million households in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, and San Diego Counties. The Los Angeles DMA is the second largest in the United States and is comprised of over 16,000,000 people; 6% of the U.S. population.
The daily school audience potentially includes 900,000 LAUSD students in schools and centers, and a staff of over 100,000 dedicated full and part-time employees. KLCS classroom instructional television (CITV) programming reaches over 150 school districts throughout Southern California.
KJLA TV
Los Angeles’s first Bilingual Station
KJLA is the Los Angeles home for LATV Network. LATV is America’s first bilingual Latino contemporary digital entertainment and musical network. Watch LATV on KJLA in Los Angeles seven days a week. KJLA is also the Los Angeles home to Jewelry Television, a leading national jewelry shopping network. KJLA is carried on 2.5 million cable homes plus over 1.5 million DBS satellite homes and can be seen on CH 57.1 digital over the air and CH 33 analog.
