2019 Latina of Influence Josefina Aguayo | Director of Partnerships | Technology | Diversity & Inclusion /dev/color

Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to recognize Josefina Aguayo Director of Partnerships | Technology | Diversity & Inclusion /dev/color as a 2019 Latina of Influence. Ms. Aguayo along with our entire list of 2019 Latinas of Influence are invited to participate in Latina Conference 2019 taking place April 10 and 11, 2019 in Ontario, California.

Described as  a change-agent and one of very few Latina’s in Silicon Valley working in Diversity & Inclusion in Tech, Josefina is a business development and marketing leader with proven track record of driving corporate and non-profit strategies to scale. Her experience spans across industries including innovation consulting, diversity and inclusion, major gift fundraising, retail and e-commerce strategy.

Josefina’s work includes piloting the Chicago Innovation Awards; driving the one million dollar marketing strategy to open the World’s Largest Store in Macy’s Herald Square, NYC and creating the Woman’s Influencer Breakfast Series for the National Urban League featuring First Lady Michelle Obama.

Josefina is currently the Director of Partnerships for ​/dev/color; a Tech start-up in Silicon Valley.

She drives all revenue for the organization and works with diversity & inclusion leaders among top tech companies to build diverse talent pipelines and retention strategies.

Josefina is a longtime board member for the National Urban League and champion for diversity and the arts, having been a guest speaker at New York University, National Society of Hispanic MBA Latina Leadership Summit, and Executive Council member for the historic El Museo del Barrio Museum in New York City.

In 2018, she was honored as a finalist for the Women in IT Award Silicon Valley She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently attending continued education leadership classes at Stanford University.
