Riverside County’s first Latina Judge, Raquel Marquez

Gov. Jerry Brown announced the appointment of Raquel A. Marquez to the bench back in December 2011. On January 27, 2012  former Riverside County Deputy District Attorney Raquel Marquez became Riverside County Superior Court’s first Latina judge.  She was sworn in by Judge Helios J. Hernandez. Ms. Marquez earned her law degree from UCLA and her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University.
