HACR Recognizes GM Manager as an Outstanding Young Hispanic Leader

Mauricio Pincheira, Orion Assembly Paint Shop Area Manager at General Motors, was among an elite group of professionals that were recently recognized for their demonstrated leadership abilities. The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) recognized 30 young professionals at the 2012 HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ (YHCA) Program in Chicago last month, during the HACR Annual Symposium.

“On behalf of HACR’s Board of Directors, we once again congratulate Mauricio Pincheira on being selected as a 2012 HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ and we commend General Motors for their nomination,” said HACR President & CEO Carlos F. Orta. “Through their educational attainments, community service and corporate leadership, HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ are setting a new standard of excellence and serving as role models for other young corporate executives.”

“The men and women of General Motors congratulate Mauricio on this remarkable honor,” said Eric E. Peterson, GM Vice President of Corporate Diversity. “We applaud Mauricio’s accomplishments and thank him for his leadership and dedication to our company.”

The YHCA Program annually recognizes young Latinos between the ages of 25 and 40 at Fortune 500 and/or HACR corporate member companies. The recipients participate in an intensive three-day leadership development, education, and training conference.

“The 2012 Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ award has certainly been one of the highlights of my career and a life changing event,” said Mauricio Pincheira.
