Toledo will receive a $25,000 grant to implement a Latino leadership project with MillerCoors for the Redwood Community Health Coalition, which is dedicated to helping underserved families have access to health care.

“I’m honored to have been selected as the 2013 MillerCoors Líder of the Year,” Toledo said. “I thank everyone who voted for me – words cannot describe how proud I am of this achievement. I’m excited to use the grant to develop an educational program for parents to benefit the Sonoma County community.”

Toledo was among 12 outstanding Latino leaders nominated by local and national nonprofit organizations for their leadership and contributions to their communities.

“Through his work, Pedro is making an impact in his community,” said Alberto Senior, manager, multicultural community commerce and partnerships, MillerCoors. “On behalf of MillerCoors, we congratulate him on his win. Each of the 12 Líderes brought a unique perspective to the table, and we thank them for their commitment to the Hispanic community. At MillerCoors, we take pride in highlighting the work of emerging Latino leaders.”
