Event | East LA Meets Napa & Beyond – July 18, 2014

AltaMed Health Services is proud to present its 9th annual “East LA Meets Napa & Beyond,” an exclusive food and wine pairing tasting that celebrates the richness of Mexican food and success of Latino-owned restaurants and vineyards in California and beyond. The event takes place on a warm summer evening on Friday, July 18, 2014, 6-9 p.m. at the Union Station and Metropolitan Water District Courtyards at 800 N Alameda St in Los Angeles.

The event will feature food stations sponsored by 30 Los Angeles area restaurants and 30 wine stations by vineyards throughout California, Mexico and beyond. Guests will combine their favorite foods with distinctive wine to discover their own perfect blend. Some of the participating restaurants and vintners will be Setá, Guisados, Yxta Cocina Mexicana, Porto’s Bakery & CafeAlex Sotelo Cellars, Gustavo Wines, Reyes Winery and many more!

All proceeds from the wine tasting benefit AltaMed Health Services programs that provide access to health care, senior services, teen mentoring, HIV care and more to underserved families in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. The event also includes a VIP pre-event reception, a brief program, lives entertainment, and dancing.
