About Hispanic Lifestyle on PBS
Hispanic Lifestyle can be seen weekly on KVCR-PBS Channel 24 (Riverside/San Bernardino County) on Thursday nights at 7PM (www.KVCR.org). Beginning in March, Hispanic Lifestyle airs Sunday’s at midnight on KLCS-PBS Channel 58 in Los Angeles County (www.KLCS.org). Hispanic Lifestyle produces a total of 29 new episodes per year. In June of 2008 Hispanic Lifestyle will produce its 100th episode. 

Both KVCR-PBS and KLCS-PBS are must carry stations in both the Inland region and Los Angeles counties. For those who live outside the cable system and over the air range, KVCR and KLCS are included on Dish Network and DirectTV  Southern California packages. KLCS-TV/DT -- The Education Station is a noncommercial educational television station licensed to the Los Angeles Unified School District and is a member of the Public Broadcasting Service.  A multiple Emmy® Award winner, KLCS broadcasts on analog channel 58 and digital channel 41 to over sixteen million viewers throughout Southern California.  KLCS is also carried on DirecTV, Dish Network, and most cable systems.


KLCS-TV/DT Coverage Area     

Broadcasting from Mt. Wilson, the KLCS coverage area extends from Santa Barbara to San Diego, reaching a potential viewing audience of over five million households in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, and San Diego Counties. The Los Angeles DMA is the second largest in the United States and is comprised of over 16,000,000 people; 6% of the U.S. population.


The daily school audience potentially includes 900,000 LAUSD students in schools and centers, and a staff of over 100,000 dedicated full and part-time employees.  KLCS classroom instructional television (CITV) programming reaches over 150 school districts throughout Southern California.

PBS guidelines allow for 10 second or 15 second logo credits. In addition, PBS guidelines allow programs to have two (2); one-minute fully produced mentions at the beginning and end of the show.
