Overview: The California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Access to Business Capital Committee (ABC) has focused its efforts upon improving the opportunities for minority and women-owned firms to acquire venture capital. CHCC’s goal is to recruit 10-15 companies per region who are seeking funds and present their business plans to non-traditional Venture Capital companies.

Overview: Once a year Hispanic Lifestyle releases their survey of the regions top Latino owned companies. Mr. Richard Sandoval, President of Hispanic Lifestyle share his insights on the status of these businesses. In addition, Mr. Sandoval shares recent demographic data regarding the regions Latino market.

The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce shares information regarding the activities of Latino owned businesses through out the State of California. The CHCC also provides insights on the events and activities of their member chambers.

Overview: For the first time, Hispanic Lifestyle is presenting a workshop featuring the representatives of private and public entities that have REAL opportunities for businesses owners and professionals seeking to do business with these organizations. The representative will provide insights in the bid/proposal process. The public entities will be sharing information on incentives they have for companies looking to expand or relocate their businesses.

Keynote Address - Richard P. Montañez Executive, Multicultural Sales & Community Activation, PepsiCo North America

Overview: Mr. Montañez was named Influential Latino of the Year at the 2007 Inland Empire Hispanic Image Awards. Mr. Montañez leads Ethnic Sales & Community Promotions across PepsiCo’s North American divisions, leveraging best practices internally and externally to develop community partnerships and drive incremental sales. Mr. Montañez will provide marketing insights and words of inspiration for those targeting the Latino consumer market.

Hispanic Lifestyle’s 2008 presentation of the REGIONS TOP LATINO OWNED COMPANIES

Overview: THIS IS THE ONLY GATHERING of the regions TOP LATINO OWNED COMPANIES. In 2007 the businesses in attendance at Hispanic Lifestyle’s annual conference generated over 2.1 billion in revenue and employeed over 15,000 people.

Hispanic Lifestyle presented the 11th Annual Business Expo and Conference honoring the regions top Latino owned companies. The event will took place on Friday, August 3, 2007 at the Ontario Airport Hilton, Ontario, California.
The conference featured the annual state of Latino businesses a presentation by Richard Sandoval, president of Hispanic Lifestyle and Henry Mendoza, Chairman of the California Chambers of Commerce. A panel discussion on the value of Latino consumers featured: Mr. Richard Montanez of Pepsi Frito Lay, Mr. Lou Ochoa, President of Barratt American/President of Riverside County Builders Association and Mr. Javier Ramirez, a business consultant with an expertise in the Latino Market. The president of Cal Poly Pomona, Ph.D. J, Michael Ortiz, addressed the luncheon audience. The highlight of the expo is the annual recognition the region’s top Latino owned companies. The combined totals of the 2007 listing complied by Hispanic Lifestyle exceeds 2 billion dollars and 15,000 employees.
